Anime Expeditions Beginner Guide: Best First Steps

First ten minutes

1. Finish the opening lobby flow.
2. Redeem every currently verified code.
3. Claim Index, login, quest or other visible free rewards.
4. Inspect the current summon banner and pity information.
5. Build a usable team before chasing a favorite rare unit.

Build the first team

Aim for reliable early damage, one source of economy when available, and a useful support or control option. A team with several expensive late-game units can still fail if nothing handles the first waves.

Spend Gems carefully

The summon screen and pity system create pressure to keep rolling. Decide in advance how many summons you can afford without blocking upgrades. Stop when the team can progress and save the remainder for a stronger banner or confirmed need.

Push Story

Story teaches placement, lane coverage and upgrade timing while unlocking account progress. Place early damage first, add economy only when the stage is long enough, and upgrade the unit that prevents the next leak.

Level and improve the core

Concentrate levels on units you deploy. Use Traits and Equipment after you know each unit's job. Do not consume all reroll resources on an early placeholder.

Use trials and side modes

Trials, Challenges, Raids and other modes can provide resources or unlock paths that Story alone does not. Enter when your core team can meet the requirement; do not split upgrades across too many unfinished units.

Reach level 20

Player level 20 is the current Expeditions unlock point. Before entering, prepare a team that can protect a Payload across route nodes instead of relying on one narrow Story setup.

Beginner checklist

• Current codes redeemed and rewards confirmed.
• At least one reliable early damage unit.
• A plan for economy, support or control.
• Gems and rerolls not fully exhausted.
• Story progress moving toward level 20.
• Traits and equipment aligned with roles.
